RFI 8-12dBi 3G+4G+4GX+5G LPDA Kit
Key Features
-
Includes LPDA-BKT for correctly cross polarising transmissions
-
Solid construction for maximum performance and reliability
-
Stainless slanting bracket for poles 25-63mm
-
Your choice of cable length and connector (SMA or N-type)
-
Wide spectrum design, suits all current and planned cellular networks (including 700MHz LTE).
Additional Information
-
The true brilliance of this engineering masterpiece is its extremely wideband design - operating on two incredibly wide bands 694-1000MHz and 1500-3000MHz
-
Coupled with its robust durable construction, this log periodic dipole array (LPDA) antenna will stand up to the challenge of ever-changing network frequencies for years to come
-
This is the only antenna kit in Australia suitable for carrier aggregating 700, 900 and 2600MHz 4G networks, with current 1800MHz 4G networks.
Usage
-
With 4G networks using both MIMO and Carrier Aggregation technologies, it's important to deploy an antenna kit that provides two separate and cross polarised antennas to provide effective MIMO operation
-
This antenna kit is typically deployed in areas where trees and other non-terrain obstructions exist within the first 50-100m of the antenna beam which cause multipath scatter that would normally be outside the aperture of a highly directional antenna (such as grid and dish).
-
This antenna kit (two antennas) rests at ground potential, providing improved lightning protection and reduced precipitation static noise.
-
Termination is via your choice of two 'N' female coaxial connectors fitted to short LMR195 cable tails, or SMA male connectors fitted to two 10 metre low loss LMR195 cables.

Connection
-
You can choose between two 10m cables that terminate with SMA Male connectors, or short 50cm leads with N Female connectors
-
If 10m of cable is enough you can use the appropriate patch lead (make sure it has a SMA Female connector) to connect to your modem
-
If using this antenna with a mobile phone you will probably need an SMA to FME adaptor to attach your phone's patch lead or cradle
-
If you need to use more cable, or are using it on 4G, you'll need to select the N Female connector option so you can attach a super low loss cable (which have N Male connectors).
Option 2. 2x N Female Connector [pictured]
A Heads Up!
- This is a kit of two antennas and will require two cables and two patch leads.
